Am I the only one who spends ages calling something by what you thinkis it's name, then realising that you're probably saying it completely wrong? For example, the other day I was battling the elite four, casually, you know, just taking a leisurely strollthrough thepokemon league. In my head I was Bisharping about Gyarados when I realised WIAT THERE IS A Y AND NO E AT THE END ITSPROBABLY PRONOUNCED giaradosrather than GARADOSE like you sayit and how usay it and help me please

Drifblim. I always pronounce it Driftblimp. Well in my head, at least. I just pronounce it "that one balloon ghost thing" when speaking. =]

In the anime, Scizor is pronounced like Size-or, so that's how I pronounce it. It makes no sense to me when people call it Sizzor. I guess I never made any sense to me anyway, haha.

I always say REGI-ICE but about 2 years ago i realized that REGICE only has that one "i" so it's just "REGICE"...Also, that whole debate about "ark-ee-us"/"ar-see-us" thing is still relevant for me lol.

Well it's pronounced sizzor in Super Smash Bros, which means it has to be that way! >.< Of course, I'm kidding, lol. But I mean, if you think about it, doesn't it get its name from scissor?

Everyone I know has pronounced Rayquaza wrong! I've always pronounced it right but until Pokedex Pro came out I wasn't able to prove it. His name is pronounced Ray-quay-za not Ray-qua-za. Phew it's good to have that off my chest.

Also, that whole debate about "ark-ee-us"/"ar-see-us" thing is still relevant for me lol. Having never heard Arceus said out loud I've always said "Arc-ay-us", as in the word archaic, which I expect to be wrong. Of the two "debated" pronunciations you mentioned I would most expect it to be "Arc-ee-us"... I would hate for it to have a name that contained the word arse.
