Staff members are not allowed to break any of the rules above. If you see it happening, feel free to report it.
Punishments (Listed below) will vary depending on the infraction.

--Punishments--
Punishments will vary depending on how bad we deem the infraction. They are:
Warning - Menial things will result in a warning. You have a warning bar that fills up to 100, it then moves on to other punishments.
Muting - This is where you are not able to talk on the board. You may still view it.
Temporary Ban - This is where you are not able to view the board for a certain period of time.
Permanent Ban - You can never again view the board.
--BBCode and How to Use it--
BBCode stands for Bulletin Board Code, and it is very similar to things like Wikitext(code used on Wikia and Wikipedia) and HTML(basic language in how web pages are written). Since it is a markup language, there are opening and closing "tags", and almost all of these tags must be closed.

--What is a Thread?--
A thread is a conversation about something. Each post becomes a thread, and people slowly add by posting comments.
--What is a Sticky?--
See Ditto (Or perhaps Slugma) sticking out of a folder? That's a sticky! This means it will always stay at the top, and is probably something important!
--What is an Anouncement?--
When you see a folder with Chatot (And sometimes a rare bird) sticking out of it, that's an announcement! It will show up on all boards and is most likely important, so make sure to read it!
--Wow! That thread is a Growlithe!--
That means it's a very popular thread! Other thread types like stickies and announcements also change to fire types when popular!
--Are there Hidden Boards?--
Yes. There is an area for the Staff, and other areas that may not be accessible to you just yet. But that doesn't mean they won't ever be! There are items like key cards, tickets and passes that will allow you to enter these areas! Stay tuned!
--I can't find the Answer I'm looking for!--
If a question is commonly asked, then it will be added to the FAQ! Expect this FAQ to be evergrowing!

--Can I donate to Legends of Johto?--
Yes you can! Donations help users buy clothing from the Boutique using Pokédollars instead of real money!
It also helps keep the forums up if we ever run into any trouble.
It will also get you exclusive items and Pokédollars, aswell as access to exclusive boards!
Pokédollars
--What Are Pokédollars?--
Pokédollars are the currency of these forums. They are gained by posting and used to buy many Pokémon items like potions and Pokéballs.
They can also be saved up to buy real life items like Tee Shirts and Posters! Spend wisely!
--How do I get Pokédollars?--
As I just said, Pokédollars are gained by posting. But this is not the only way to gain Pokédollars! There is the Bank, Stocks, and even a weekly wage that depends on your post count! Let's break them up and explain them in the next several questions.
--What is the PokéBank?--
No, it's not for uploading your Gen V Pokémon into Gen VI, the PokéBank is where you can store your Pokédollars. Why would you do this? Well, Pokédollars stored in the Pokébank will gain interest! Interest rates change, but interest works like rollout. The more money and time, the more money you get in return!
--What are the PokéStocks?--
PokéStocks are just like real world stocks... Wait, they are real world stocks! Although renamed to fit the Pokémon community, these stocks are based on real world stocks! You can buy shares of these stocks using larger amounts of Pokédollars, but be careful because they can drop/rise at any time! Buy low, sell high!
They could be the best way to gain lots of money, or the best way to lose it all!
--I get a weekly wage for posting?--
Yes! By meeting certain "quotas" every week (Such as 100 posts, 200 posts, etc) you will be rewarded with a weekly pay! They are often equal to the amount of posts in that quota. This does NOT mean you should spam! Spamming could result in a ban or even a lock on your income, meaning you won't make any money at all!
--What is the Pokémart?--
The Pokémart (I hope you would know what this is!) is quite close to a real Pokémart. You can come here to buy items and even sell some items that you have acquired on the forums. Not all items in the shop are for sale, and the items in the shop are NOT the only items on the forums! Some items are hidden or can be found by browsing the forums.
--How do I get hidden items?--
Hidden items would be items that don't show up in the Pokémart. They can be acquired by achieving certain things, browsing the forums and finding them or even by gaining access to hidden locations on the forums. Some will allow you into secret boards that are otherwise hidden, some will give you exclusive permissions on the forums! Try and find them all!
--How do I get rid of items?--
Items can be removed by a mod (Meaning they're gone forever!) or you can give most away to others! This is a great gift system, especially if you have an exclusive item and perhaps want to trade with someone else!
--What is the Boutique?--
The Boutique is a fantastic store that allows you to get REAL LIFE ITEMS WITH POKéDOLLARS! Although they are sometimes very pricey (As to justify you buying a real life item with forum currency) they are well worth it! Items will be added quite often so make sure to check the Boutique every now and then for something you may want!
--I have the Pokédollars for an item, how do I get it?--
You have to ask an admin (Probably Jirachi :3) to run the transaction. Then we buy it with money given to us by donations and ads and send it directly to you!
--I want something from the Boutique but don't have the Pokédollars!--
Well, the Boutique is based on an actual shop! This means (As you can see from the Boutique page itself) that these items can also be purchased with real money! The money made from people buying the clothing will be put towards others who purchase them with Pokédollars and to support the forum itself.
