Wait a second, when did Sandstorm boost SpDef??? I missed something, lol. But yeah, I'll definitely bring something that can take out Steel. Maybe Chandeluer(sp?)? Since Steel typically does have high Def, wouldn't that be better than a Fighting type?
Also just got done EV training my Roggenrola. =]

So I think I have my first ever non-story team figured out.
Gardevoir Aerodactyl Chandelure Lapras Jolteon Gigalith
And I'm pretty happy with it! Might not be completely sound and stable, but it's a first step. =]
I'm also still open for tips and stuff! And still taking in everything that's already been said, haha. Probably won't change this one any since it is my first, I haven't gotten it completely built yet, and I wanna see how it works in battle, but there's nothing saying I can't have more than one team, right? ^-^

Looks great! Good coverage, nice choices. Who's your Mega? I'll give the stones to both Gardevoir and Aerodactyl then make a decision based on what I see in my opponent's party. Least, that's what I have planned. I'll probably just go with Aerodactyl each time cause super fast death flying lizard thing!

Yeah, Sandstorm gives a 50% Special Defense boost...freaking Tyranitar...
If you were to go into battling in tiers, I'm thinking you would be in UU? If so, Gigalith is still out of olace. I'm pretty sure it's NU. It has 5 vulnerabilities, and it has low Special Defense, but at least it has Sturdy. Gigalith might be the first to take out if your team is having trouble. Although I personally would ditch Jolton...I can't stand that @&$#...
Long story short: I hate Eeveelutions, and they're overrated. But whatever works for you...

I will say...the few times.I.play TCG, Eevee has some great options. But you have no idea how much crud I've gone through with those nuisances. I could show you Vs. Recorder Video after video...but we'd be here too long.

Special Defense does suck, but it's more of a suicide lead-off member anyways. Laying down a Stealth Rock then Explosion last minute and hope for a Quick Claw activation... lol. Jolteon is one that felt best to me with the options I had. I wanted a fast, special attacker, so yeah, haha. Plus I like Eeveelutions. :3

Plus I like Eeveelutions. :3 If you are generally looking for something wilh high defense and doesn't share typing with the rest of your team, I think I could recommend Steelix. Insane Defense, good attack, and super low speed, which gives it a nasty Gyro ball. And it can learn a Curse. Naturally. Oh, and it also has Sturdy. I'm thinking you would be able to more with it than a Gigalith. If all you are doing is Rocks and Explosion, I doubt Gigalith would be able to withstand another hit if it's in the position of exploding. Don't get me wrong. I, myself, used a Gigalith in a Black 2 with Explosion (probably because it was shiny,) and it worked well. In-game. Competitive battlers are smarter than AI in the sense that they won't just let Gigalith stand around and kill off stuff that can't touch it. Quick Claw only has, like, a 20% chance of activating, I really don't see anyone using it outside of in-game. Odds are, when Gigalith is out, the opposing Pokemon is going to have something strong against it. I just think Steelix with be less vulnerable, and is less-predictable. But if you really want to use Gigalith, I won't stop you. In fact, I'm curious to see just how far you'll go with it. I think Onix can learn Stealth Rocks by egg move. I do remember getting one from the Dream World in Gen V that was able to spread it to its offspring, although it may have just been because it was a move tutor move at the time.

And according to Bulbapedia, which is where I always get my information :3, Onix/Steelix can learn Stealth Rocks by level up in Generation VI. And I agree with you, Quick Claw isn't reliable, but it's the best option for a possible priority boost when I don't have that one berry that does it. I might see what damage I can do with Gigalith in a few battles, first, and see how it feels, then try Steelix! Thanks, man!

That's convenient...Game Freak knows their stuff...

Also factor in that Steelix is SWEET haha You have good taste, lol. And yeah! I think it was somewhere in the Lv10s that they learn Stealth Rock. Not bad at all. I've noticed moves learned upon level-up are pretty nice in this generation. Course, I am making a jump from Gen III, lol...

When you talk about not having a certain berry, are you refering to the Salac Berry, or one that's currenty not available in Gen VI?
