What Braviary do you think is the best?
I love this pokemon but I can't find the best strategy and moveset for it. Mine is this:
Adamant Braviary 252Sp. 252Atk. Ability: Sheer Force -Crush Claw -Sky Attack -Superpower -Shadow Claw
I don't know if Superpower affects to Competitive, raising the Attack. What do you think about this?

That looks like a good set-up for him :) If you want an item, how about a Life Orb? Considering his already HUGE attack, he could take out most things in an OHKO :)

Competitive doesn't work on yourself. Take out sky attack. It's a two turn attack and that honestly leaves you wide open for attack. Switch it with brave bird. Take out crush claw. Switch it with return (make sure if has max happiness) return has 102 power (153 after STAB) and 100 accuracy, while crush claw has only 85 power and around 90 accuracy. Switch out shadow claw for either U-turn or rock slide. U-turn allows Braivary to scout and retreat if it has to (and deal good game to psychics/darks) and rock slide just gives coverage to opposing flying and fire type Pokemon. Thankfully, sheer force increases rock slides mediocre power. Either leftovers for steady recovery, or a life orb works. You could also try the assault best since it doesn't have any status moves and it could get a boost in its special defense.

>Not running defiant superpowerBrave Bird, Super Power, Return, U-turn Throw a choice band on it to make it basically unstoppable, but it has to be Defiant to counteract the Super Power drop, and actually raise his attack stat each time. Sheer Force would work with SP too, but Defiant is generally his golden ability. You could also try the assault best since it doesn't have any status moves and it could get a boost in its special defense. This is a fifth gen board, my friend.

I thought he mixed it up since he said it had competitive. My bad. EDIT: Sheer force doesn't take away negative effects. Superpower still lowers your stats. Same with Hammer arm. Speed is still lowered. Also, I tried defiant tornadus and super power never worked, defiant only works when the opponent lowers your stat.
