Is Fissure still a move in the Pokéverse? I remember it being properly badass in Gen 1 and was a staple of ALL of my ground types.

Honestly, it's been so long since I've seen this move that I'm starting to doubt it's existence.

Fissure wasnt a staple of Gen 1 Earthquake owned Gen 1 - Fissure was like Horn Drill ; way too inaccurate!! I think OHKO moves like that have been phased out because they realised it was a silly idea Fissure and Horn Drill etc are also banned on most Pokemon Battle Simulators. BQ xoxo

BQ xoxo I never said it was, only that I would always have a Pokémon that had it. Imagine using it with the No Guard ability. Ownage taken to the next level.

Yeah, Fissure was super inaccurate in the game, but any time I saw it used in the anime, it'd hit no problem :) lol

Yeah, Fissure was super inaccurate in the game, but any time I saw it used in the anime, it'd hit no problem :) lol There's a lot to the anime that defies the laws of Pokémon. Like how they scream "Dodge it!" To avoid an attack. That always irked me.
