I recently started playing the trading card game online and finally learned how to play the card game! Haha somewhat! I just wanted to know what some good deck building strategies. Do I just buy separate booster packs and hope for the best? That just sounds so expensive! Haha help would be appreciated :) thanks

Hmm I'm not so good at deck building myself. Most of the time if I want to create a good deck, I'd buy a Tin Set or a Deck Theme Set. Then I'll just mod it to my own preference and see how the outcome goes. I think TCG is pretty basic and there's a lot of decks to come out with! My opinion on packs is if you want to collect or try your chance on getting a rare. It's the same rate as getting a shiny i guess. Unless you buy a whole booster box :( It's is so great. Even the price.

I've been slowly adding to my cards over a while. I actually have a TCGO deck I'm pretty confident in too, signing on daily will give you bonuses and sometimes packs, and we'll be having contests for online packs pretty soon ^.^

Thanks for the advice guys! I'll be happy to partake in any giveaways haha who doesn't enjoy free stuff?? I guess I'll just keep trying to build on my own, both online and actual decks. What are some of your favorite cards that you own now that you can always count on to pull you through?

Creating decks with 2-3 different types seem to work the best for me. Try making decks that work around a certain theme. Like the genesect ex/virizion ex deck. It makes use of building up your genesect with energy quickly.
