" PokeBattle is a new website dedicated to competitive Pokemon." They plan to launch the beta in early February and even though the name doesn't sound that amazing, the features listed are pretty interesting and I'm looking forward to that. A feature that I'm really glad to see on the list is an actual ranking system. Showdown's laddering only based on points and no actual ranks doesn't seem right and I don't see anybody that cares about the points either. Another one is a point value system that really makes me wonder where the competitive battling will go. Instead of banning Pokémon or having tiers, every Pokémon will have a certain ammount of points depending on how good it is and the team will have a limit of points. That way you won't be able to use a team full of OP Pokémon and the teams would be more creative (because everybody uses almost the same Pokémon over and over). For more info check out their site and follow @pokebattleteam on Twitter. So guys, what do you think? I'm pretty excited for this

I don't use battle simulators too often, but when I do Showdown tends to do the trick quite well...
If they think they can improve it for the people who are really interested, then cool, go for it. I personally don't think I'll sway until it gets really popular...
...just because I don't use battle simulators as it is anyway.
