Hey everyone! So I am thinking of making a baby team and I can't really think who would be good on it. I mean Clefa and Igglybuf can clean out dragons but what else would be good? Elekid? Magby? Bonsly? Any suggestions?

Munchlax! And is Togepi considered a baby? :P Maybe the Anime swayed my vision of Togepi. Misty and pikachu treated it like a baby so I consider it one.

In terms of baby Pokemon, Munchlax, Elekid, Magby, Wynaut would probably all be decent. Just to clarify, when you say baby Pokemon, are you referring to only baby Pokemon like the ones mentioned so far or Little Cup in general?

I know there is a whole SLEW of pokemon that would qualify for little cup. This is just a for fun team. Not a serious team.

Togepi can't breed like every other Baby Pokémon, so I also assume it's one too. Yet in the TCG it's always classed as a "Basic Pokémon", when really Togetic is more the Basic Pokémon. Anyway, I think Smoochum should be on your team. It's a lot more effective than Wynaut when it comes to a Psychic Type. Budew could be considered too, pretty nice Pokémon~

Budew could be considered too, pretty nice Pokémon~ What do you suggest I run on them? Also, what about Mantyke? For Smoochum I'd put EV's into Special Attack and HP, I'd also give it Psychic, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball and Rest with a Chesto Berry. But alternatively you could go for Psychic, Ice Beam, Protection and Wish then maybe give it a Life Orb. The ability would be great if it were hydration, but I don't think you can get that in X Y yet... As for Budew, you're going to want Natural Cure, it's the best ability for Budew. With a bulky Special Defense I'd maybe try raising that up a but with some EVs then some on HP. Giving it Giga Drain, Substitute, Toxic and Spikes might be nice. Although if you are worried about the type coverage of the moves you could replace Toxic or Spikes with something like Shadow Ball or Venoshock. If you did decide to put these two on your team, it's worth noting that they're both not never physically defensive, try maybe finding something that could cover that well... Mantyke has some mas Special Defense, but in my opinion hasn't got many moves to fully utilize it, so you'll end up wishing he had more Special Attack. But that's just my opinion, maybe you can look deeper into these Pokémon and find a better strategy than me!

When I used a Mantyke in LC, I gave it the moveset Scald, Air Slash, Rest, and Sleep Talk with Eviolite and Water Absorb, and it seemed to be pretty effective.
