So what's your competitive team and what's your strategy? I'm new but I know I'm going to have my Rayquaza (five IVs and all EV trained) Took me a while to get the Rayquaza with the right IVs (a few hundred resets) but it was worth it. Not sure what other Pokemon I should use and what strategy but I'm working on it.

You really are new. You may disappointed at the fact that there are Pokemon that are considered banned/Ubers that you cannot use in the metagame online competition.
Go on Serebii or Smogon and learn a thing or two there first before really setting off on becoming the best there ever was.

Still, you gotta be careful about its counters. Especially now in 6th generation. There is the new fair type to consider along with all of Salamence's previous counters.
Make sure you keep a balanced team.
