So as some of you know I have recently started competitive battling and I have finally got together a team that I think is pretty good. I would greatly appreciate help and tips that you have to offer to make my team better or good strategies I could use with this team. Also I just changed my name from EmrldRayquaza to just Rayquaza so don't think I'm some new guy.
Greninja @ Life Orb Ability: Protean EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature - Toxic Spikes - Hydro Pump - Grass Knot - Ice Beam
Zoroark @ Leftovers Ability: Illusion EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature - Dark Pulse - Focus Blast - Flamethrower - Nasty Plot
Gliscor @ Toxic Orb Ability: Poison Heal EVs: 252 HP / 184 Def / 72 Spd Impish Nature - Earthquake - Substitute - Protect - Toxic
Lucario @ Lucarionite Ability: Steadfast EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature - Close Combat - Bullet Punch - Extreme Speed - Swords Dance
Rotom-Wash @ Choice Scarf Ability: Levitate EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Modest Nature - Will-O-Wisp - Volt Switch - Hydro Pump - Trick
Aegislash @ Leftovers Ability: Stance Change EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef Adamant Nature - King's Shield - Swords Dance - Shadow Sneak - Sacred Sword
Please leave your thought on this team. Thanks!

Dude this sounds awesome! Rotom-Wash is such a hassle to battle against, so you're gonna have a couple of people frustatrated! They all seem so well balanced, especially that Aegislash! I'd be afraid to go up against that team haha good luck! Are they all IV bred?

I tested the team out on Showdown to see if I wanted to use this team or not.

And if not that, maybe you could teach your Lucario Brick Break in case your opponents use defensive barriers? Just a thought haha :P defensive barriers are a nuisance

I only have two things to add... 1. Zoroark is a fairly fragile Pokemon, he doesn't like taking too many hits. In my own personal opinion, it almost seems like a waste to give him leftovers. 2. I may be wrong, but aren't you only allowed one Leftovers per team? If I happen to be right, I'd leave the Leftover's on Aegislash and give Zoroark a different item that he could benefit from. Other than these two things, it looks like a solid team and I look forward to battling it soon!

I agree with Dude about Zoroark needing to hold something other than Leftovers. If you want to keep that set, could you try using a Focus Sash? If not, maybe it could have specs with Nasty Plot being replaced with Trick. Lucario having Bullet Punch and Extreme Speed seems a little redundant to me since both moves will have the same base power for Mega-Lucario (adaptability). Is there is something specific you are trying to counter? Also, I'm not crazy about choiced Rotom-W having Will-O-Wisp, but it probably does help your team against Fighting. Overall, the team looks pretty solid though. :)

I'm also trying out Brick Break instead of Bullet Punch on my Lucario but 'm still not sure which I like better or if I should get a different move. Thanks for the tips!

Lucario having Bullet Punch and Extreme Speed seems a little redundant to me since both moves will have the same base power for Mega-Lucario (adaptability). I agree with this. Both have priority and Extremespeed has twice the base power, so I'd get rid of Bullet Punch for something else...perhaps Stone Edge? That's what I use on my Lucario. It can neutralize many threats to Lucario including Fire- and Flying-types and deal pretty solid damage to many other things as well. Also, if you haven't bred your Riolu yet, perhaps you could look into getting the egg move Blaze Kick. Not really necessary, but it can make for a nice surprise move against some opponents.

Thanks I'm trying Brick Break right now but if I don't like it I'll try Stone Edge.

Personally, I use Shadow Claw on my Lucario so that I can still hit Ghosts and slower Psychic types that Extreme Speed won't finish off. Honestly, I think Brick Break would be redundant too since you already know Close Combat, and you would be completely helpless against Ghosts with only Close Combat, Brick Break, and Extreme Speed as attacking moves.

Is toxic spikes working well on your Greninja?

Is toxic spikes working well on your Greninja? I'm curious about this too because I am intrigued by the idea of turning Greninja into a Poison type.
